SPO 7500 PULSEOXIMETER

Post by BASCONERO » Fri Aug 08, 2008 2:06 pm

Greetings to all peoples in the forum! I'm Italian from Milano and I'm a CPAP user ( Remstar Auto Cflex 15cmH2o to 20 - Respironics Comfort Gel mask - Respironics Encore Pro 1.8.49 sw - SPO 7500 pulseoxi - Markos Mefar Air Liquide pulseoxi ); first thing excuse me for my possible bad English ; I've a question to do to the persons that use SPO 7500 pulseoxi:
when you save report files in your pc or on a cd, program save these files with .VSZ extension ; which free program do you use for open these files? Thanks in advance for your answer and bye.

I am not sure I understand your question. I recently bought a 7500 and it came with the software. It is called Vitabase. The CD came with the unit.

Maybe I misunderstood you? Did you not get Vitabase type software with your 7500?
Installing Software is like pushing a rope uphill.
I have Encore Pro 1.8.65 but could not find it listed
under software.

I LOVE the SV.

I too received Vitabase with my SPO7500. The disk says Version 2.00 but the loaded program says Version 1.40. I know they offered the SPO7500 without the program for about half the price for those with multiple use applications. I think with the program it was $499 but the PuleOximeter without the program was $249.00USD. I really don't remember seeing the program with out the PulseOximeter but you might contact the company and see if they will sell it to you seperately if you bought it without the program.

What dllfo said.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Hi, thanks all for replies! Maybe there's a misunderstanding! I've purchased SPO 7500 with proprietary software (version 1.40 ) and it work good! If I need to read my reports I open his SW program and I read results normally! But ( this is my question! ) if I want to save the entire reports, for example on a CD, the program saves these reports file with .VSZ extension; therefore I asked if someone know a free program that is able to open them when SPO sw isn't open! Thanks again and rgds!

I've purchased SPO 7500 from:
http://www.protherapysupplies.com/pd_sp ... l_7500.cfm

because in Italy there are only two resellers: one of these sells only to doctors; the other one sells at a price of 1.200 Euro ( 1.800 USD ) more than three times as much!

OK, now I understand. Sorry! I do not know of any program that will open the .VSZ format except Vitabase. However if you use a program like PrimoPDF (free) and have it "print" as a Adobe PDF file it will convert it to a Adobe format and save it that way outside of Vitabase you can open it with Adobe Reader.

Hope this helps!

Hi 6PtStar and thank for reply! I've tried to download PrimoPDF, but it don't open nothing!
I can print all reports with SPO sw Vitabase, no problems; problems starting when I try to save reports files; If you want to try, go on Vitabase memory studies files and then click righ button mouse and try to export study: the program can save only as a .VSZ extension, no other possibility!
Thank you very much anyway!

No don't try to open it with PrimoPDF. Go to Vitabase and select Print but select the PDF printer In your printer types and print to your desktop or where ever you want to put it. It will show up as a pdf file. Then you can move open or what ever you want top do with it with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Sorry i am not very good at explaning computer things.

The .vsz file can only be opened with the Vitabase software.
All the best,
