Well I'm one step closer to becoming a real cpapper.I went last night to be titrtated for the first time.It did not go as well as I would have liked. The mask was a Comfort Curve Classic. It didn't bother me at all to wear it but keeping it from leaking was another story. It only took 15 minutes for me to fall asleep but every time I tried to change positions the mask would leak and air would blow into my eye.Plus I have a hard time sleeping on a flat bed.I have had lumbar spinal fusion so laying flat is very painful. No amount of propping helped. Finally at 4:00am the tech came in and said that he had enough information and he doubted I would sleep any more being so uncomfortable. He told me that he did get the pressure set early and that I did reach stage 3 and just into stage 4 sleep and no apnea events and no snoring.
My AHI score the first night I went was 95.8%
Hopefully I am now much closer to getting some rest.

You made it though, Rick! Good.
We'll all be interested in hearing what pressure they recommend and what machine/mask you get. You were already considered a noble cpap'er by me...you just didn't have a machine yet. And still don't. But, as you said, that will change soon!
Good luck on the equipment!!
