Thanks everyone for the discussion.

I'm still a newbie - about 10 weeks on CPAP and have read quite a few threads here, but just registered today.
I came looking for information on congestion and nasel swelling. The last 3-4 nights my AHI has gone up to 18 -20 and I wake up after 4 hrs or so with a very "stuffy nose". Now after using "afrin" for 3 nights, I'm getting the rebound...

My pressure is 10cm, and I've been using hh of 3 since I started. For the first 3 weeks or so I averaged around AHI of 11, then it started going down to 6-7, then started climbing again..

It took me awhile to learn how to get into the data on the machine (again thanks to this site)

I'm going to turn down the HH tonight and see what happens.

I've tried using my humidifier in passover mode each night since reading this. I was having stuffiness and using it in passover seems to have relieved it. These have been pretty humid days. I believe I''ll need it once winter hits and our dry heat goes on, since I once didn't use it under dry conditions and it felt like all the moisture had been sucked out of my nose and throat. I think I'll use it at the lowest level possible and see about the rainout being reduced.
