I'm just wondering, if you had a really bad head cold - were your sinuses also stuffed up during the sleep study?? How were you even able to breath through the mask? Has your doctor considered that the titration pressure may be wrong (too low or too high) - because obviously if you're all stuffed up then your real pressure may not be enough? Maybe there's an obvious answer I'm missing here but....?lktnky wrote:So that's the long version of why I've asked about whether or not you found the other mask(s) comfortable. When I had the titration study, I only slept a few hours due to a nasty head cold. I trust my sleep doc and he's helping work through the issues, it just that there've been so many and my attitude is tanking. Guess that's last night's lousy sleep though.
Second suggestion - don't worry about sounding whiney!!! That's what the forum is here for! You'll have plenty of time to be bubbly and chipper once the therapy starts working - now is the time to roll up your sleeves and .... complain about what's not working for you! Well if you find some things *are* working for you, feel free to share those too!
Just start a new topic (thread) , and make the subject line meaningful. You'll get more help than you ever wanted, but you probably figure that out by now
