Hey Wulfman, you got a graphic you can post re: physical therapy performed while engaging in respiratory therapy?

Some of us slower-witted folks might need a visual aid.

LOL,

Maybe I'm weird, but I do find the mask quite sexy . Truth be told, we've even done it with the mask on on occasion

I tried that but I'm getting old and need a WHOLE lot more air than my machine can muster. I did discover I can rip the sucker off in 3 milliseconds though - ear hurt for a week!

Mask or not. I don't think sex will ever be as good as 30 years or more ago. Spontaneity is a huge turn on (just knowing she want's me as bad as I want her) and we'd find a way. If she wasn't a big chicken we'd have a resume of this secluded park bench or that little clearing in the woods. But we do still have a thing when traveling to stake our claim in every state we actually enter (flying doesn't count).

Now one or the other of us is usually too tired or sound asleep. I used to be ready anytime day or night, just raise that eyebrow a certain way, but now we both have to pick out times and it is so contrived it often suffers. But we keep trying.

I used to play golf (seems like an earlier lifetime ago), but was never really good at it. But on most rounds of golf, out of the hundred or so shots I'd take one would be absolutely perfect. Hey, even a blind monkey finds a banana once in a while. That shot kept me going back, at least until there where no more of them.

So yeah, keep on trucking and be creative. Swap houses with a friend for a night and live it up! Careful there - I said houses not spouses!

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

I'm wondering why the lady in that article waiting 8 FREAKIN' YEARS to do something about her low libido.

You don't use it, you lose it......
Work like you don't need the money;
Love like you've never been hurt;
Dance like nobody's watching.

having been married for 18 years to someone who has worked mostly midnights for 15 years, i have to say that nighttime spontanaeity went out the window years ago...but being creative and seizing opportunities works well for us, as does the concept of planning, so i vote for either way...just get er done! and btw, sneaking off when the kids are occupied may not seem as satisfying as the slow buildup, but it certainly adds an element of fun; this worked for us when the kids were toddlers, but even now, with a 14 year old and a 12 year old in the house, it's not much different...still gotta sneak off!

as far as my mask goes, i couldn't care less...before cpap, i wasn't so pretty either, snoring, snorting, gasping, drooling, twitching, sleeptalking, sleepwalking and generally creating night time mayhem...and not the good kind i certainly can't imagine someone waking THAT creature up for love or money!

i've told this story on here before, but i think it bears repeating...one morning when my honey came home from work IN THE BRIGHT SUNLIGHT BTW, i woke up and said, "oh, jeez, don't look at me, i must be a sight with this thing on!" and he smiled and said, "oh honey, you just look like an angel laying there so peacefully"...so THAT's just one of the many reasons we've been sooooo happily married for 18 years

If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got...

Sex and the CPAPer

Post by Latex731 » Fri Jul 25, 2008 5:59 pm

Like someone else said, you both have to get in the mood. Do what ever it takes to get in the mood. Then, separate sex from sleep.

People have been having sex in masks for ever. Gas masks are a big fetish and many a diver has had sex under water. So, if you both like to fall asleep after sex, put the machine in a convenient place and make the mask part of the game. Try different positions so you can work around it.

Make sure you have the right mask because we all know that some masks are less cumbersome than others.

"Cause I'm about to mask up, and this is your last chance"

That's pretty much the way my girlfriend and I handle things. Frankly, sex has been the *last* problem I've had with my CPAP.

I am new here but not to OSA. My girl friend doesn't mind it at all. If I fall asleep she will either put it on me or wake me gently and tell me to put it on. I can get that mask off as quick as I can me britches. She knows she is never "safe" around me where down there is concerned.

Most of them do tend to have quick releases, so yeah, I've never seen the problem with getting it off again after putting it on

Tansey, are you actually my Dad in Mobile?

Sorry, you just talk like him. And think like him. Maybe it's an Alabama thing?

LOL,

I don't know Babette, I don't think I am a typical Alabamian as I don't like the big 3 B's most of them do---foot Ball, Bourbon and Bush. I do feel southern though, but I have lived all over the earth, Alabama is a great place to live, but you have to overlook a few things that are just plain wrong but they are that way just about everywhere you go I guess.
