Wow, thanks everyone so much for all your advice. If you WERE doctors, this would be a happier, healthier planet.
I slept poorly last night on the manual settings, then came home early from work after reading your advice (and dog-tired) to take a nap (don't tell my new doc, or I'll get a bad behavior grade). Put the settings on auto with #s you advised, improvised a way to keep my mouth shut (more on that later, plus I need to refine it), and voila the results. Only 2.5 hours sleep, but I feel, what's that foreign word, rested? And AHI only 2.0 once I got through all my different attempts at straps.
I'd read on the forum before that some people had bad results from the auto setting and preferred manual, so I'd never tried it, but glad you suggested it.
Still have some leaks and will work on those. I guess the next step is to just keep doing this for at least a week and monitor results. Is there any value in going back to manual settings once I build up a history of average IPAP/EPAP numbers?
Again, thank you all SO VERY MUCH!!!

Does anyone else have AHI in the 50s?
In adobe in tools then select and zoom, there is a snapshot tool available. With it you can copy a whole page (or more) of a PDF document, throw that into a program such as paint, and save a whole page as a JPG to upload.
I know little steps at a time, but looks like this nap was a lot better than that night you had posted before.
You might find help with leaks on this recent thread (I know the swift fixes are elsewhere but they are linked in this one too).

that looks a LOT better than your first report of AHI=50,
If you are going to use the manual mode on your Bipap, you would set it to 16/12 but then you would also have to figure out rise times and get that sync'd up, might as well leave it in auto mode, in that mode it will lower pressure as needed and allow you to start off with a lower setting making it easier to fall asleep.
I'd leave it where it is at and sleep with it for a few days, get some rest and machine in auto mode should keep you under AHI=5.
