It looks like we can buy the software program and card reader on cpap.com. Is that correct? I thought we had to have a doctor's order.

Two benefits of the software:
1. The software is just a good data repository. If you are diligent about checking (or recording) the values from the LCD, you will be fine without it.
2. The software allows you to look at your values on a minute by minute basis. This is handy if you are interested in seeing when your flow limitations occur and how long they last. It's also the only way to look at any patterns to your pressure and leak rates.
country - I don't think you need a doctors order - I didn't when I got mine.
