It will get better and quick if you stay with it. I never even notice the sounds it is making, but I wonder if the humidifier chamber wasn't pushed in, you probably didn't get much air either since it goes through that chmaber.

I have to say I finally slept 8 hrs last night. I partially woke when I heard one of the dogs barking, but rolled right over and back to sleep. I am at the point now where I don't take the mask off unless I am fully awake or ready to get up. I feel secure in knowing I can breath and fall asleep faster with it on. Never thought I would get to that point.

Definitely everything I have learned here has made all the difference, I hate to think how it would have been had I not found the forums.
