1st night report...

Post by bobby_tee » Wed Jul 16, 2008 7:34 am

Well, one down, the rest of my life to go. Actually, it went very well I'd say. The biggest complication was that the All-Star game ran late and I didn't get to bed until 1:30!

But that said, I set the machine up and tried it out ahead of time. Had the heat on 2 on the humidifier, and after a little testing, put the CFlex on 3. That seemed to work fine. Slept on my back and was concerned that I'd open my mouth, but my wife reports no snoring.

All in all, it went very smoothly. Didn't wake up or have any problems during the night. Not a huge difference in my energy this morning, but then again I got to bed late, so I'll get a better idea tonight. I do feel pretty good, so I'm feeling like the first night was a success, if for no other reason than I had no problems.

One thing: I noticed that I only used probably 1/3 of the water I put in the humidifier overnight, so I'm going to cut back on how much I put in next time.

On to night #2...

bobby

sounds like a good start, hopefully you put distilled in the humidifier and take it out of the machine during the day, empty and let air dry.

Bobby,

You can't ask for more than that for a first night! Way to go!

Hey, thanks all. And yes on the distilled water and emptying of the humidifier.

I hate the idea of adding tasks to my morning routine, so I'm looking for the simplest and quickest way to do what's necessary. I'm sure that will take some getting used to.

By the way, is there any way I can access the data that's being recorded on my smart card? I'd love to get an idea of how this is working from the numbers side before I go to see my Doc in 3 months.
