I am too old to stoop to reach you - tho I will reference your rocket science comment.

Did you forget about your OP?? Where after one day you asked -

Maybe you should consider calling your DME or cpap friend for such trivial things.

The entire post is here -
Insomniyak wrote:Hi all
Just got my Pro M yesterday and I love it. I was trying to cycle through the data that was on it though and noticed I can only get a 7 day average and a 30 day average for the AHI. Last night was my first night using it and I got a little over 5 hrs of therapy on it. The averages for the AHI stil read '0' .

At what point in time should it start giving me an AHI reading? I would think it should already give me something even though it has not been 7 days yet.

I am ordering the card reader and I will go through the provider manual to see if I can figure it out, but if anyone has experience, your input would be helpful.

I do hope they find a medicine that will help you.

I am truelly sorry I gave you the response I did. I was a little annoyed at your harping on me about my rare but positive experience with a DME. I was wrong and can accept that. Since I learned 90% of what I know about OSA and CPAP right here, I took the time to seek out a DME and exactly what I wanted and am truelly grateful for that. I was just pointing out that there are a few positive experiences out there. Couple that with the fact that I got 3 hours of sleep with a mask digging into me and lying on my CPAP hose and I was a little too quick on the draw.

I am still sorting out alot of info and do appreciate yours and others' advice that have been at this a along time, please don't think I have taken that for granted.

Thank goodness for Snoredog!!!!!

Now I am even more confused by this thread. What happened to the Opening Post for the thread? Thank goodness for Snoredog somehow keeping the old posts for anyone reading this to be able to figure it out.

People (like me) search these archives trying to gain a little information in the SA world, and I fail to see why anyone would choose to completely delete the opening post and wipe out a three page thread that might have been helpful to someone. Maybe marginally helpful, but helpful if it kept someone from buying a M Series plus when what they wanted was the M Series Pro. Note that the manufacturers do absolutely nothing in naming their product to prevent this high degree of confusion.

Sorry, Dean, I am sure the DME's do full disclosure, carefully explaining to each patient that they are getting them the cheapest machine that will not allow them, the DME, or the Doctor to have any insight into their therapy.
