Hey JB
Thanks for the heads up on the Remstars, that helped alot. The reason I got off the Cpap way back when was because of how bad it dried my mouth and throat out, I had gotten one of the humidifiers they had back then and it made no difference, so I figured I wasn't gettin' any sleep anyway so why wear the mask. If I only knew then what I do now but live and learn, I'm really looking foward to starting my new adventure if they'd just get my order in I'd be good to go.
Later
Roger

Sounds like you might be breathing through your mouth.... stuffy nose?
Sometimes a chin strap will help train your mouth to stay shut at night, otherwise a full face mask might make a difference.
If your nose tends to dry out a saline gel will help to soften tissues and prevent cracking - something like "Ayr-gel". I found it available at Target when I couldn't find it at any Walgreen's stores.
It's all a balancing act.
Good luck with it!
(Oh! Also be sure to read the threads about the Encore Pro software problems people are having - and Derek's wonderful new program for it!!!)
