gasp, get that bike out and go for it.

I don't think I would consider taking the "machine" on the bike.
.....but, I sure hope that with the sleep that is to come,
I will discover a whole new life on the bike.
Congrats for getting a data capable machine! I prefer the Respironics AFlex for its superior exhale technology (doesn't feel like the air is being pushed toward you all the time, as the air lets up for natural exhale). Anyway, getting data is the important part.

As another posted, it only records a limited amount of days. If you don't get your own software and card reader, you can make notes the following morning for each previous night so you know what changes you may have made and then take the card in to see how each change impacted your AHI.

I thought DMEs were not supposed to give or sell the software to a customer (prohibited by the manufacturer). I'd recommend getting it if you can. The card reader too if they are doing that for customers. You can get the card reader online.

It's best to have therapy every night of your life from the first day you start. Strokes and other health problems can occur from apnea.

I see you chose a nasal pillow mask. If you have trouble with nasal soreness, you can search the site for many remedies including changing the size of nasal pillow and/or using ointments. Or you could go to a mask with a nasal cushion (like a mini mask for the nose). I also see your mask straps have constant contact with your cheeks. Wash your headgear often to avoid skin problems due to bacteria on the straps that touch your cheeks. Abrasion may also be a problem. You may want to look into a product made by a forum member called Pad-a-cheek. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/pad-a- ... cover.html
