M Series CPAP vs. BIPAP Noise ?

does anyone know if there is a differance in the sound(NOISE LEVEL) , say an m series auto cpap w/ c flex VS. an m series bipap auto w/ bi flex would make ...like a whistleing,whirring sound on respirations???...any experiences ? Thanks, tim

My machine is quieter than the cpap machine. I would have to say there is more "noise" with the bi-pap though; in my case it is my of an obvious difference when breathing in and breathing out.

To me, the benefits far outweigh the problems because I don't feel that panicky feeling when breathing OUT anymore. I think it is user preference! My spouse can't use anything but straight cpap!
