Activa is still number one.
I've tried a lot of masks.
The FP HC407 was wonderful, until my pressure went higher (13cms) and then it was worthless. It's quiet and comfortable and fabulous for side sleeping, in general.
The Ultra Mirage II just wouldn't seal like the Activa. It is a very good quality mask, but I got fed up with the leaks.
The Respironics Comfort Fusion mask that I used in a trial had NO leaks and was very quiet and comfortable, but after the trial when I got one of my own, it leaked like a sieve.
The Soyola, which I had great hopes for, made me feel like I couldn't get a good breath. I may experiment with that one again, but I don't think it works for people with big noses. (right Snoredog?)
I couldn't wait for the Resmed Mirage Micro! I thought it would be the answer, but I couldn't get it to seal for me, no matter what I tried. It has tons of adjustments, and I tried them all, to no avail.
So, the Activa remains the "go to " mask , even though I have to sleep on my hand to keep it from leaking, since I'm a side and stomach sleeper. Even with sleeping on my hand, the last Activa I got leaks like crazy. I think I got a "dud".
Now getting ready to try Babette's Nasalaire, that I just received on a trial. (Thanks for doing this Babette, you totally rock!)
Still looking for the anwser, and I'm headed for the 3 year mark on this journey.
