Dear people.....
I thank you for your responses. I was trying to point out that being sad over loss is a part of life. I used my "losses" (much smaller than many, for sure!) to illustrate. It's not wrinkles, by the way. It is those red areas. I don't mind wrinkles. I was delighted when I turned 50. Half a century, finally getting somewhere! (A wag reminded me just where I was getting.......) I have loved every big birthday, and all the tweeners too. I have the sweetest, kindest, most considerate husband a gal could have. (Not to mention some of his other qualities unmentionable in public!) I am a china painter (hobby) and love my creative outlet. I love my home and friends. I appreciate every day what I have. What I was attempting to point out, perhaps not too well, was that sometimes it seems that people who are just sad are told to get over it. That's when they need us the most.
