I'm approaching nearly a year on BiPAP Therapy. Blessed with this web site, I've collected a growing assortment of tools to get the most out of my therapy.

What has been critical, choosing the right tool to solve the right problem. 'Taping' is not a cut and dry solution. I found it worked well when my nasal passage was clear. And, I awoke unable to breath with a nose that clogged in the middle of the night while wearing 'Tape'. Bad Experience!!

Nylon stocking worked well with the CPAPPRO, but it was hard to adjust and slipped off in the middle of the night. If I took the time to wind the stocking and position properly, worked out well. If I really needed to open my mouth to breathe, elasticity allowed it.

Finally, I had a thought, call the DME and get a chinstrap. The Chinstrap has worked really well. But, I tighten it so much, I'm feeling pain under the chin. So, I've got to learn how to adjust it.

I'm really frustrated that the 'Brick' doesn't show values in real time. So, when adjusting while lying down, I can get an idea of leakage.

I think my next step, format an extra card, slip it in the 'Brick' and take readings. Look at the results while lying in bed with a laptop Now really, is this too much work???
