Thanks computech007,

I use medium, but my left nostril is larger than the right, so some times I switch between the large and medium pillows. Maybe the cradle cushion in a medium will fit better than my medium pillows, sense the consciences is that the cushions seem to be a bit on the large size.

Dan

I started with the Optilife large nasal pillow, switched to the medium cradle cushion and ended up using the small cradle cushion. The cushion provides me more air and is much more comfortable than the pillow style.

Hawthorne: could you please compare the working end of the ComfortCurve and OptiLife cradles and advise if there is any difference that would keep the seal from riding up to far and blocking nostril(s)? I really like the CC but had to kludge headgear to keep the seal from riding up.

As for sizing, it may not necessary follow pillows size. Typical pillows are round, most people's nostrils are not. * I expect the appropriate cradle size depends on both width and height. The cradle comes in Large and Large Narrow, for example, but apparently no width choice in smaller sizes.)

* There is one common genetic makeup with noticeably round nostrils.

I have used the Optilife for most of my CPAP years (3 out 4 to be exact). The cradle cushion was a godsend. I used medium pillows, but I use a small cradle cushion. However, the Optilife is not my favorite mask anymore. I have trouble with the plastic parts digging in to my jaws as night, and it doesn't stay on very well. I've rigged some old tights to run through the empty slots on the bottom plastic piece so I can tie them around the back of my head, but the tension causes me to have a stiff neck the next day.

I wish they would come up with cradle cushions for the Swift LT and Swift FX along with cradle cushions for the GoLife, which I want to try next.

I just got my OptiLife yesterday, but since my nose felt stuffy, I used my FullLife mask last night.
Tonight I think I'll try my new mask with the small cradle.
Feels nice; and the headgear is nearly identical to the FullLife.

I had a cushion for my optilife last fall...hated it. Could not get it to stop leaking..being rather stubborn I stuck with it for several weeks..still could not get it to stop leaking..so gave it away in a trade.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

I see this thread, which I started several years ago, has been revived with a question to me.

Sorry, I no longer use the Optilife. I have one on hand but have not used it for a couple of years now. Over the long term, the Cradle Cushions did not continue to work well for me - began to get a lot of leaks.
