Post by neilmalcolmson » Tue May 06, 2008 2:06 am

does the m series auto on activate the ramp on this machine or do you have to turn it on manually
also do you get used to the c-flex noise

The ramp button is on the top of machine, you have to turn it on manually if and when you want to use it. I found no problem with noise. Some say machine is a little quieter without it, but I have not found much difference with it on or off.

Yes it does! The ramp is set by your dme and even on auto it will start out at the prescribed ramp, when you put your mask on, the machine should come on automatically!

The machine isn't that noisy, it's the masks we wear but you will get used to it after a while, it's not bad at all..

The machine starts after you take a couple of breaths.

I find that my M series autoPAP is considerably noisier than my IntelliPAP.
