Well, I finally got the "real" straps. They are much nicer,

However, I noticed something strange. I sleep with the hose "on the loose". I do this because when I am on my back, the hose goes down into a loop and up into my hose holding rig.

When I am on my side, the hose rotates 180 and exits toward the top of my head and up into my hose holding rig.

I do not permanently attach the hose up over my head because I find that it sticks out too far and too close to the wall. Even with an angled swivel, it ends up pushing into the wall and moving my mask around.

Now...when the hose is pointed down, all is quiet.

When the hose is pointed up, I hear a "growling" kind of leak. I wonder if it is leaking more when facing up and this is exacerbating my leak rate? I would say that the data proves this out, because the larger leaks have been when I'm on my stomach (typically toward the end of my sleep). The other night I was sure my leak rate would be very low because I was on my stomach with my face 1/2 on the pillow and 1/2 off...my chin was slammed into the mattress, and there is NO way my jaw could have opened....yet this was when I had one of the biggest leaks on the graph.

Also, honestly when on my side, even with the stabilizing straps, I think I STILL get a bit of a leak.

Thoughts?

Is the 360 Opus REALLY better than the original version? I looked at the pictures of the two compared nasal pillows, and I don't see how it can be. That mask was the worst. Whe I tried it, the whole nasal pillow fell out, and I woke up to massive air blowing. It was not worth the fight. I want to try that new Mirage Swift LT.

Work like you don't need the money;
Love like you've never been hurt;
Dance like nobody's watching.

I have no problem with the pillows falling out at all. They are quite secure. I had to work to get them to fit, but it fits well now.
