Why not rent the one you think you want for a month 1st? Most places in Oz will deduct that from the purchase price if you go ahead. Resmed have this policy, just be careful though if you rent the s8II. You will NOT give it back and I will bet you anything on that

No apologies needed JS, or anyone else. While much of what has been written is beyond my needs at this time, I have read it with interest.
I am pleased to see that if the time comes that I need to increase my pressure beyond what I need, and am comfortable with, at present, their are machines that will allow me to do that with a minimum of discomfort.
