Hi,
so, after some research, and lots of nasal irritation from pillows, I decided to give the comfort curve a try, and I picked one up off cpap auction. Is there some secret to getting the nasal interface anywhere near my actual nose? I think it would be comfortable if I could just widen/flatten out the curve that holds the silicone pads. Does anyone have any good tweaks to make this thing work? In the alternative, if I can't tweak it, is anyone interested in taking it off my hands? Thx
comfort curve- WTF??

I never could get the thing to work for me, but I'll bet you'll have a taker.

Comfort Curve
I have used this mask for about 2 years and really like it BUT many people have difficulty with it.
I wear the medium nose piece but it may be that you need another size. I can also wear the small. The adjustments on the cheek pad rests may be the key. You know along the side there are adjustment points . You can move it from the first to the fifth spot. I find that the second one from the bottom works for me. Make sure both cheek pad rests are at the same spot on both sides.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the links, RestedGal. At least it's nice to know I'm not the only one with face that just isn't compatible with the dang thing. I've tried all the adjustments I can find on the mask istelf (changing pad angles, adjusting straps, flipping strap upside down...) and nothing quite seems to do the trick. I'm going to draw the line at cutting up pantyliners to replace the silicone pads.
All of which means I have this very lightly used CC mask taking up space. If any of you folks who profess deep and undying love for this mask are interested in taking it off my hands, just let me know.

ComfortCurve in its orginal form did not work for me.Got it free from a local DME when I inquired about it and was told that noone had luck with it and they had some in stock. Decided to try to fix it to fit my fuller face.
1.Replaced silcone cheek pad with liners, moleform then respironic foam ones. Noted that all replacements helped.
2.Replaced orginal headgear that had only one back strap adjustment with the newer one that both strap lengths adjust in back.
3.Reduced the curved area by stuffing a small pillow between the curve and the straps for a day.Respironics thinks everyone has a skinny face.
Note got the newheadgear and foam cheek pads for less on ebay.
It now works only for back sleeping but leaks when I move to much. Plus one of joints leaks if the tubing is moved so I might try to tape it shut. The only reason s why I still try to get it to work are it does not rub the nose bridge(bad for skin)or have two nose openings(nostril has blockage).
I read the newer ComfortCurve should have the improved headgear and swivel joints and that some people were able to get for free the upgrades Resironics would not answer my request for the upgrades.
