I've been on the hose for 3 months now. 98% compliant. CPAP with pressure of 9. I have recently noticed a "different" feeling in my lungs, especially the upper area. The best way I can describe it is that my lungs feel similar to when I take a decongestant. It's as if the pressure has "opened up" my alveoli to a degree. No other "symptoms", just the strange feeling in the lungs. Not terribly unpleasant, but I don't want to make any problems. Any thoughts?
Lungs feel strange

Yeah, I remember Biology 101. Lungs DO feel strange... So do hearts, and livers, and spleens, and...
But about your chest pain...
Ask your pulmonologist for a consult about it. I just came from mine. She decided after a year on CPAP, and some weird stuff I've been getting lately I needed to change some of my asthma meds. Could be you need to change some meds, or get some meds, or it could be this is what "normal" feels like, and you've been abnormal so long you don't know that.
Good luck!!!!
