I tried to order my replacement parts today from the local Apria here on Long Island(NY). They now have a Sleep Management Center that I have to call. I called and they had the whole list of what my insurance would cover at this time. I just had to tell them what I needed at this time. The number is 1-800-310-3363. You can also use this number to file a complaint against any Apria branch. It seems Apria is trying to take Sleep managment more seriously!! Of course I didn't actually get any of the stuff I ordered yet, but I'll let you know how it all works out!

Hi---I just has my first appt. with Apria this past Saturday. I have to report that I got very good service from them,. The RT ws VERY nice and handed me my brand new S8 ELITE --just as I was promised. She let me select a new mask of my choice--I chose the OPTI Life nasal pillows---it is working well so far. I have CIGNA and she told me that Cigna does not rent these machine--she said Cigna is buying this outright for me that day-it is mine, I own it. I was so happy to hear that!!! I had BC and BS last year and got the Escape which is a good machine but not data capable. She also told me that Cigna will let me get new masks any time I want ---there are not any limits or timeframes --which is GREAT!

The Apria RT was very knowledgeable but did not know how I can access my data on the screen. She said I'd need software to read the card but I am not sure how to read the data on the screen? anyone have any idea how to do that?

Carrie

Press the Left and Right buttons and hold them down for 3-4 seconds. Efficacy Data should appear on the LED screen. From there on in it is pretty self-explanatory: Left button to Enter, Right button to Exit, Up button to return to the previous screen, Down button to proceed to the next screen.

If the two button press and hold doesn't bring up the Efficacy Data screen then that access has not been set by your DME supplier's RT or ordered the script from your sleep doctor.

Not all doctors or DME supplier RTs are even familiar w/the advanced/detailed patient menu option and that its access had to be ordered by the doctor.

Thanks Slinky--I want to be able to access the data --that is why I worked so hard to get the ELITE!! My Doctor is a GP--knows nothing about the machines. Does anyone else out there know how to get to the advanced/detailed patient menu options?
