encore pro data base

Post by granti55 » Thu Apr 24, 2008 12:24 am

I was wondering if the My Encore program will work with Encore viewer 1.0. On the site where the program is downloaded it says you must have a encore pro data base. Can somebody explain if this is different from Encore viewer.

Thanks Grant

Encore Viewer does not create a database on you machine. It has no user made add on.

Encore Pro - no longer sold online to patients does.

"My Encore" was created by forum member Derek for an older version of Encore Pro.

Encore Pro Analyser (aka EPA) was created be forum member JSkinner for newer version of Encore Pro.

Both "My Encore" and EPA show graphic summaries of the data in the Encore Pro database.

Hi Ozji,

1) Is the EPA works on Vista?
When I stated the EPA it says......

"Cannot open database "EncorePro"requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user 'systemname\username".

2) Wondered how to resolved this problem? Please help.

3) Will work on XP?

EPA, due to some security passwords in accessing the database and only available in the Encore Pro software, must be run as the Administrator or how ever the administrator is named only. It runs quit well on an old PIII/600Mhz with XP home.
