Texans do ROCK!! Glad to learn that there are fellow Texans here! I am originally from Dallas, TX. I lived in Houston for a little while, a long time ago. It's a really nice city, but like Dallas, getting sooo big now!! I have been in Central TX for 14 yrs, and I do miss the big city a lot sometimes. On the other hand, I like getting across town in ten minutes

I just wish the weather here wasn't so humid all of the time. I dream of living in Connecticut someday....

And least we forget, CPAP.com is located in Texas and can ship you your order to arrive the next day anywhere in Texas if the order is in before 4 p.m. (Blatant plug!)

Yeah but we don't have to invest in a sauna, every house has one, equal opportunity

The Sauna Effect...

Post by sleepwalker103 » Fri Jun 03, 2005 8:50 pm

Ha, ha, that's a good point! I only have to step out the front door, and I get all of the benefits of a high-priced sauna, with none of the expense!! You know, I think I'll just get out my beach towel, and hop on out on the front deck, and put that hot air right to work!!

We have had a ton of rain the last week, high winds, hail and the whole nine yards. So the end result is LOTS of humidity. You could soak it up with a sponge right now, ha, ha. Lordy, lordy I'm praying for snow!! My husband teases me a lot, he says I am from another planet, ha, ha. One with a landscape resembling the Antarctica! And I have spent my entire life living in a state that maintains a tropical climate... But, I jest. I am very fond of Texas, and that is the lure. It's a whole other planet. And the people here are some of the best.

I had not noticed that this site is TX based until Janelle pointed it out! I am so glad they developed this site!! It is truly a Godsend. I am definitely going to recommend it to everyone I come across who would be interested.
