Chicago Area DME

Has anyone here used a DME from the Chicago area? If so, can you recommend the company name and person you dealt with.

I too started with Apria out of Naperville 4 years ago. They did a good job for me. The good thing is, when we moved to Florida 3 years ago, we found 2 Apria offices within 20 miles of our new home! I continue to deal through them.

I just had my sleep study done about 4 weeks ago at The Center for Sleep Medicine in Grayslake. (Lake County) It's run by the Lake Forest Hospital.

I'm using the DME at their office - the guy's name is Dennis Clancy - and he represents a company called Advanced Health out of Orland Park.

I got all my equipment from him, and have been happy with what he recommended. He called me to see how I did after the first night and after a week, and I expect a call today or tomorrow to discuss how things are progressing. Both he and my doctor have encouraged me to call whenever I want. So far, that hasn't been necessary.

There is a Sleep treatment only company called Health Management Services in Hoffman Estates that is as good as DME gets. Dianne is at 800-310-0015.
