Not only is A-flex more comfortable, it lowers my AHI as well.

I got my AHI down to an average of 1.0 using auto/a-flex. I noticed I was spending most of my time at 10cm, so I thought I'd try going back to CPAP mode @ 10. My AHI jumped to 2.5. Of course when I went to CPAP mode I also had to go to C-flex. So I wanted to see if the jump was caused by the static pressure or C-flex. I went back to APAP, this time with C-flex, other than that using the same settings. Again my AHI was 2.5. Back to A-flex, AHI back to 1.0.

So for me at least, A-flex really helps my AHI.
