Anyone have "floppy eyelid syndrome"?

I had an appointment with my opthamologist the other day. I told him about having heard that OSA can put you at higher risk of developing glaucoma, and he agreed. He said something else interesting.........that people with "floppy eyelid syndrome" seem to have a higher risk of OSA too. He explained that this condition is when your eyelids flip up (inside out), even if you just happen to lay on your side and the pillow touches your eye. He said that it isn't a result of using CPAP, but people who develop OSA seem to have a higher incidence of floppy eyelids too.
I asked him if the eyelid condition could somehow also be a condition of the throat/trachea (soft connective tissue), and he said no........but I still wonder.
Anyhow.......how curious a condition! Anyone have it?

I'm thinking I may actually have FES. I can easily evert my eyelids if I lift up my eyelid as in the figures below.

It's certainly not life-threatening, but I find it interesting that I do have OSA and seem to fit the pattern of FES.

Symptoms generally consist of ocular injection, irritation, itching and stringy mucous discharge, particularly upon awakening...

Supposedly, consistent, long-term treatment of OSA can significantly improve or reverse the condition. Anybody else here have this?
