I am one of those...nothing but good things to say about my local Apria. However, keep in mind that I was also very firm from first contact onward. The first thing I did was fax a letter with my prescription indicating that I would ONLY accept the prescribed machine (I told the doctor what to write ) and if they could not provide it, proceed no further and call me. They called and said they would be happy to give me my Elite, but they would have to special order it. Fine by me.

Clearly state what you want, and let them know it. Chances are, you will get it!

Update on ResmedV8 Elite

Post by rcpap1 » Wed Mar 26, 2008 8:12 am

Slinky and All,

I moved my new loaner resmedelite cpap into the door of my nightstand.

I cranked up the humidity as high as it would go.

I slept alot better, as I was exhausted from not getting enough sleep on the two previous nights.

This is such a well built unit and so quiet.

I hope tonight is the same success story.

Thanks to all,
Rhonda

Thanks BarryKaraoke!! I did just that--I faxed everything over and told them that if they did not have the ELITE in stock to please order it and call me when it is in. That was yesterday --I have not heard back from anyone yet--but I was give them the rest of today to get back to me. I will then make a follow up call to be sure that someone there recevied my fax. I do a report from the FAX machine that said it faxed over ok.

I plan to be firm but nice--in order to keep track of my progress I HAVE to have a data capable machine---
thanks for your advice,
Carrie
