Selling a used machine

Post by n5xmt » Sat Mar 22, 2008 9:58 pm

Is it legal to sell a used CPAP machine?
I no longer need my Remstar Plus with heated humidifier...
Could use money instead (Can't we all?)

Shss! The CPAP Police monitor this site. Jim

I had a friend, he was going down as a three time loser, he sold two machines, and got caught both times. It was his good fortune as he was selling the the third machine to a under covers CPAP Cop, he fell asleep, his airway closed and he died. Saved the government a lot of money.

LOL Goofproof! NO, it is not illegal to sell your cpap machine however, who ever purchases it from you needs to have their prescription on hand or downloaded with cpap auction! Go to cpapauction.com you can get rid of it there...

Is it the one pictured in your profile?.....the M Series Plus w/C-Flex?

What makes you think that you no longer "need" it?

If you're giving up on your therapy, you're making a HUGE mistake!

Den

(5) REMstar Autos w/C-Flex & (6) REMstar Pro 2 CPAPs w/C-Flex - Pressure Setting = 14 cm.
"Passover" Humidification - ResMed Ultra Mirage FF - Encore Pro w/Card Reader & MyEncore software - Chiroflow pillow

Just got the M-series with C-Flex.
Definitely not giving up on my therpy!
GOOD!

Other thoughts:
Have you tried to list it on CPAPAuction.com?
There may come a time when you need a backup.
There are various times when people (some without prescriptions) are looking for machines......you might wait for one of them to come along.

Does it have C-Flex?
