what is up w/cpap.com?

Post by Guest » Sun Mar 16, 2008 4:03 pm

I haven't looked at the forum for a few days, but when I came here this morning, it was totally different(format). I am using my iPod touch and it was way hard to read the posts. Fortunately I saw a post from goofproof leading me back to my happy place. It is cpaptalk also but a new formatted version (or I'm just losing it)

Does anyone know what's up?

Thnx,

Deb

Deb,

You're not the first to have stumbled into it.

Some months ago (last year), Johnny mentioned that they were looking at a new format/software package for the forum. Maybe that's what you all are accidentally seeing.

Apparently if you type "http://www.cpaptalk.com" you get here, but if you type "http://cpaptalk.com" you get the new beta one and (according to some) get yelled at for being there.

So until they make it official, make sure you explicitly type the "www" if you want to find all of your CPAP friends.

Liam, CPAP Buddy.

I used the same bookmark that I have been using here all along, but it took me to the beta. I don't like the new one! I hope they keep this one

Thnx,

Deb

Aromatherapy may help CPAP compliance. Lavender, Mandarin, Chamomile, and Sweet Marjoram aid in relaxation and sleep. Nature's Gift has these and a blend of all four called SleepEase.

When I click on the Beta URL, it automatically shoots me back to www.

Guess Johnny must have disabled it by the time I found this thread this AM.

Cheers,
B.

Yeah, that's what I reported in the "Poll thread"......sometime between about 5:30 and 8:15 MDT, this morning.
