I knew you wouldn't let that brain tumor kick your butt.
I AM WOMAN -by Helen Reddy
I am woman, hear me roar
In numbers too big to ignore
And I know too much to go back an' pretend
'cause I've heard it all before
And I've been down there on the floor
No one's ever gonna keep me down again
CHORUS
Oh yes I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained
If I have to, I can do anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman
Love Ya

Keep praying, I just remembered my kids are out of school in 2 weeks for the summer.
I'm wearing my CPAP faithfully, it is kind of uncomfortable because the forehead piece of my Activa sits right on my incision
Just keep me in your prayers, I guess I'm catching up on that sleep debt now, whether I want to or not.

It is just unbelievable how well I'm doing. I am so thankful and everyone knows who I am thankful to.
I wear my CPAP faithfully even though the straps rest on my incision. Like I said I am not able to wear my other favorite, the Aeiomed Aura mask, but soon....
My neighbor just had his sleep study done, I'm so happy that I am able to help him with any questions. I stopped by his place today, he is a farmer and he is kind of worried because I guess his MD isn't so sure he is going to sign his medical card, he drives a dump truck, because of the sleep apnea. Right now he is on the auto titrating, trying to figure out a pressure. He is using the Comfort Gel mask and seems to be doing well with that.
Its just great to see someone go from sleep deprived to feeling good. I asked him how he sleeps now and he said the mask takes some getting used to but he sleeps and wakes up feeling refreshed. He just had a knee replacement and they noticed the OSA in the hospital, he told me that and I rode him until he finally called his MD to sign up for a sleep study. He is very new to this.
Anyone with the comfort gel have problems with care of it? I told him just to use baby soap to wash it, he was using Dawn dishwashing liquid.
Thanks,
Heidi

The power of collective group praying is amazing. Rest assured you had all of us praying for you. It's all downhill now for you and so glad all went well. Keep on letting us know how it is going.
power of prayer
I have often wondered about this and how prayer works in such cases.rock and roll wrote:The power of collective group praying is amazing. Rest assured you had all of us praying for you. It's all downhill now for you and so glad all went well. Keep on letting us know how it is going.
Is a mind in power changed?
Is the mortality rate different in aethists and those who pray?
What part does the docs skill and probability and outcome play in this equation?
And what does one in charge have against those who do not have a favorable outcome?
Just curious.

These are all factors. Of course thye doctor has to have skill. Of course many things have to happen and go right but think of prayer as a positive energy (after all, everything and all matter is a form of energy) and the more people sending it to another the larger amount of energy reaches us. In this case positive energy. Yes it helps. Does it all the time, no as there are reasons for such. But, if and when I have dangerous surgery or health problems, I want it coming at me, it can't hurt and in the opinion of many, it works.
