I had red marks, then eventually a bruise, and finally an open sore with a comfort gel mask. My DME took it back and gave me a different mask. (Though I saw at the end of the year that they DID charge my insurance, and also charged for the faulty humidifier that was still under warranty. ) I think if you are getting red marks or bleeding that serious readjustments or a new mask are in order!
Bridge of nose...ouch!

I am new to this site but I too had problems when I got my first mask about 2 years ago. I have blogged about it at http://www.jeffchel2.blogspot.com/. Take a look at it for the free solution I use.
