Free New Snuggle Hose Cover

Post by sleepycarol » Fri Jan 25, 2008 8:59 pm

I had some leftover fleece and made an extra hose cover. It is for a 6 foot hose. It won't win any awards for neatness but it was made with new fleece and is fully functional. I used rubberbands on the one I use and so suggest that rubber bands be used on this one to keep it in place.

If you need a snuggle hose cover to help with rain out and do not mind that it isn't "perfect" pm me and I will send it to you at no cost. All I ask in return is that if you get a chance to help a fellow member out you pass the favor on.

PM me with your name and address. I only have one to give away. I do have a dachsund if that makes a difference.

I'll vouch for her work! Carol made me a lovely snuggle hose, and then two little ones for my Nasal Aire II hoses. They work great! And they are quite pretty!

THANKS CAROL!

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I have made a couple of more snuggle hose covers. These were made with new pink fleece. They fit a 6 foot hose.

If you don't have one and and don't mind some imperfections and would like one --pm me.

Carol,

This struck me as funny as I thought it could be interpreted that you would throw the dachshund in if that would sweeten the deal -- LOL. I have a hose cover, but wow, if I could get the dachshund as well...

That is very kind of you to give away a cover. I really like your idea asking that the recipient help someone else on the forum if they have the opportunity. Good thinking.

Yeah, I was feeling slightly disappionted that she never offered ME a dachsund, then I figured out she was saying she has a pet - if you're allergic.

I just love weenie dogs! I miss the two my ex-roommate used to have shared custody of. Her BF's mother used to go away alot on the weekend, so we basically had "weekend dogs". They were so fun!

YOU ROCK, CAROL! THANKS FOR SPREADING THE GREAT VIBE OF THIS FOURM AROUND!

Cheers,
Babs

I should have been more specific on that one --

Fred (my dachsund) is like a spoiled little kid. No one would want him long except for me. He doesn't realize that he is a dog!!!

It does make me wonder if you've ever made a snuggle cover for the dachsund? I have this lovely image of a scrunched up tube top on a dog!

Hadn't thought about making him one.

Anyone going to offer to hold him while I try putting one on him?

Sure! I'll hold yours for snuggle maneuvers if you hold my pomchi while I trim his toenails. You may want to get some of those welder's gloves they use to pick up wild animals...

Okay I am game -- what is a pomchi?

He sounds kinda vicious!!

Is he spoiled rotten?

Mine thinks he is one of the grandkids.

Rotten as year old easter eggs...

He's a pomeranian/chihuahua mix. I got him from a rescue and I'm convinced he picked me out because I had "SUCKER" written on my forehead.

He goes to the big dog side of the dog park and picks out the biggest scariest looking dog he can and chases it down and yaps at it. His favorite playmate is a big black great dane. It's the funniest thing I have *EVER* seen. The great dane rolls around on it's back and Pipper jumps on his head and play fights.

He leaves his toys all over my house, chews up my socks, knocks over the trash, chases the cats, and he even chewed up the clip on my brand new Swift II the very DAY I got it. And somehow, I still love him to pieces.

If he thinks he's one of the grandkids -- means you're treating him right!!!!

We have dog, cats (3), horses (2), goats (2) and a whole bunch of fish......They are all spoiled rotten -- as our four legged family members should be!!!!!

cheers

My mom used to raise poms and I raised one litter by bottle feeding as it was a new mom and simply wouldn't let them nurse!! Boy did I get attach to those pups. I got to pick the one I wanted for raising them for my mom. Oh how I loved that pup. He was so spoiled -- broke my heart when he darted out the front door and straight into the path of a car. He wasn't use to being outside as we never let him out and so wasn't wary of the street. After that I wouldn't have another pom --just couldn't do it. My mom passed away in 94.

It is amazing how much company dogs, cats, and other animals are.
