Hello, My names Austin I'm from Victoria B.C and am new to this forum. I've been on my machine now for just over a month and have had positive results. I use the Quattro full face mask as I have a deviated septum that makes it difficult to breath through my nose only. I was checking out the Resmed site and found the Mirage Liberty™ and wanted to know if anyone is using or has used it and has any feedback on it. My mask is still a loner and can sometimes be a bit uncomfortable so I may try swithching to the Liberty.
Thanks
Mirage Liberty™ Full Face Mask
My RT fitted me with one this morning. I found it very comfortable just sitting in the office with it on. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs 'in the field' so to speak. I'll post and update here for you.
I currently am using the Mirage Swift II and I like it, but it does have it's own set of challenges. Ideally I'll be able to keep both masks so I have a back up and a FF for when I'm congested.

You just have to try it out ... each mask will fit most everyone differently because most everyone's face is rather unique.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
I just went from a mirage to the liberty. It is light, comforable, seals well but I have not been able to use it for more than a few hours yet.
It seems to force more higher velocity air up my nose than the full face mask. And my sisnus starts acting up. And it feels like more air is hitting my mouth?????
I don't understand why it feels like double the pressure. Maybe the smaller mask volume, or smaller hose conection. I got use to a pressure of 10 to the point where I do not even feel it on the full face mask. With the liberty it feels like 15 or 20?
Till my humitifier warms up, it feels like popcicles being shoved up my nose. I am a total mouth breather. Guess my nose has never been used.
But, I think it is a good mask I should be able to get use to it. It will take some effort and maybe warm weather and a better humitifier/ heated hose??

Liberty mask
I really liked my liberty masks. I say masks because I broke two of them after less than a month each. The elbow snaps very easily if you move at all when you sleep. I hear they have redesigned the elbow. But, now I use a hybrid. Good luck.
Ok, last night was the first night with the new Liberty...
I used a small mouth piece, and the medium nasal pillows. I may try the small pillows tonight.
The overall fit was very good, I didn't feel that I had to crank the straps down overly tight to get a good seal, and the nasal pillows seated rather comfortably. The headgear doesn't squeeze my face as much as the headgear on the Swift II, and I didn't have as much marking on my face this morning.
I did have some trouble getting the nasal pillows situated, and I had some small leaks around them overnight. I'm going to try the small and then the large to see if I get any difference with either of those.
Overall, I really liked the mask. I slept great, had lots of freedom to move around. I slept every direction but on my stomach! I love the elbow swivel on the front center of the mask. I was able to keep it pointing down while I was reading before falling asleep, and when ready to turn out the light I swivelled it up and tossed the hose up on the headboard to keep it out of the way.
My DME is really great, she did a great job of fitting the mask, showing me how to put it together and take it apart. She also hooked me up to a machine and let me see how it felt with the mask under pressure.
My stats this morning were great! Leaks around .7 L/s (probably due to my futzing around with the mask) AHI was 1.4!!!! and 1.3 of that was HI. That rocks. Those are my best stats yet!
Hope that helps with your decision, Austin. See if you can try the mask overnight, that should give you a pretty good idea if it will work for your face.
