The article says:

"Dr. Mitchell mentions other characteristics suggestive of OSA, which I omit for their potentially demeaning effect."

What characteristics, pray tell, do you think he means?

Actually, Ann, I hadn't seen those other articles until you pointed them out. So I went back and read a few. I had heard about the Dickens thing, but not about the Elephant Man. These were interesting too. Also, there's an interesting article on death during surgery involving OSA sufferers. Here are direct links to some of these:
