Thank you for the welcome Linda. Yes, being a teacher does have it's rewards. It is a tough job sometimes, especially these days. Kids have changed a lot since I started in 1979. Much of your time now is devoted to dealing with problems which isn't so much fun. But, all in all the kids always brought a smile to my face each day when I was teaching. Right now I have the best job in the world, being mom & teacher to my sweet grandson.
In browsing around the forum I see so many different people, all with very different situations, reactions, etc. to CPAP therapy. I hope to learn a lot since I feel that my treatment could improve some. I don't think my pressure level is set high enough on my CPAP as my airway still closes sometimes. I am also trying to find a better mask. I have the gel mask, but am not happy with the way it breaks down so easily for the amount of money I have to pay to buy one.

Thanks for the welcome
Lori,
Gosh, your welcome was welcomed! (did I get that right, teach?)
That's great about raising and teaching your grandson.
Kids say and do the darnedest things.
I used to visit a woman who would babysit her grandson. He was so cute. He was at that early age (forget exactl) when they seem so accepting and love trying things, without concern for how they appear to others. They haven't been subjected to too much peer pressure yet. Anyhow, once he decided he wanted to "fix" my hair, to comb it and "style" it, to play at being a barber or hair stylist. Pretty funny, considering he was a boy. So I let him fuss with my hair and I pretended to pay him and give him a tip. It was pretty funny. He's a budding architect, making elaborate models and drawings of buildings, at such a young age.
Sorry. You got me remembering.......
Good luck with improving your treatment and getting a good mask. I hope to do so also.
Thanks again.
