APAP w/oximetry?

Post by Pilot_Ron » Fri Jan 11, 2008 8:01 am

Just curious. Are there any xPAP machines available with oximetry capabilities. It would be nice to get a unit that records that data as well as the usual AHI, leak rates, and such. Personally, I think that the SPo2 overlaid the events would be a more accurate depiction of a nights sleep.

If you are willing and able to spend the big bucks I do know that the Resmed S8 AutoSet Vantage, combined w/the purchase of their ResLink which requires a Nonin 3012 XPod DF#1 and a Nonin 8000 or Nonin 8000AA finger sensor will provide all that. Beyond that I have no idea.

The ResLink can be purchased for just under $200 but the two Nonins .... I've forgotten now, about $600-$800 if I remember correctly.
