I recently purchased the NeilMed neti-pot at Walmarts and the package contained a free offer for the NeilMed bottle. You don't even have to pay postage to receive it. It will cost you a stamp as you have to fill the form out and put it in a stamped envelope.
Start Date: 8/30/2007 Pressure 9 - 15

Hi Carol, I saw a display stand at WalMart with the pot, but I didn't check it out. I will the next time I go though, Thanks for the info...

OK you NeilMed Fans. I to use the NeilMed system also. I have always used the squeeze bottle, have never tried the Netipot. Saw a lot about it but when I bought, Walgreens did not have the Netipot. Have either of you used both and which do you like best? I there any advantage to holding the head upright (for the squeeze bottle) or tilting it to the side (for the Netipot)? Inquireing mind would like to know?

I haven't used the pot, but I use the bottle also. The only difference that I can see when I looked at the demo, was the bottle uses pressure and the pot uses gravity. The mixture is flowing more freely with the pot, and the bottle is whatever the user decides to use while squeezing it. It seems to me that the bottle is less messy ... Like you Jerry, I am wondering which of the two that most like best...6PtStar wrote:OK you NeilMed Fans. I to use the NeilMed system also. Okay I will confess!!
Boy you two sure twist arms don't you?
I have both now -- a netipot and the bottle.
I haven't used either one.
I purchased the the Netipot at Walmart's due to it being cheaper priced than at our local Walgreens. I brought it home and put it up in case I end up getting a cold. Didn't open the box.
A few days later I happened to be in Walgreens and noticed that they had the NeilMed bottle on sale. I decided to go on and pick it up as I figured I would eventually use the packets out of it and then I could try both to see which I liked better.
I opened the packages and that is when I discovered the free bottle offer in the netipot package.

It is a running joke at work --
I will walk into my coordinator's office (I teach special education) and start talking -- he will give me a blank look and say "What are you talking about?" I then reply "Well your a man and men are supposed to read women's minds. What do you mean you want to know what I am talking about?" Then we laugh about it. He has a good sense of humor and we have worked together for the last 8 years so he is used to me now.
You have an excuse Joyce you can't read my mind as your another female -- but I can rib Jerry cause he is a guy!!!
Jerry you mean you CAN'T read minds?

If you don't mind a digression ....
I have both a netipot and NeilMed bottle and have used both. I prefer the NeilMed because it's faster ... so I use it every night while I had to really drag myself to use the netipot because of the time factor.
