CONGRATULATIONS!

I think your CPAP machine needs to buy you a nice Pap-pillow as an Anniversary present.

good one, babs, but as you may recall, my next purchase has to be a spare headrest so i don't have the same experience i had last month...since i have to purchase them out of pocket, the new pillow will have to wait! bah humbug!

well kajun,
i hate to be a nay sayer, but i don't have anything REALLY positive to say about that, other than i've avoided dying in my sleep, which i will concede is quite a positive!! LOL...i'm still working on feeling better, but my loved ones tell me they see a change in me and i no longer conk out in the middle of every day now, so i guess i'm on the right track...i think the first 9 months of my therapy was at the wrong pressure, and i didn't have data collection then, so i don't really know what may have been going on...plus i have not one but 3 separate sleep disorders, so in my long standing tradition of being a PITA, i continue to dazzle my sleep doc with my shenanigans!
having said all that, though, i will say that hosing up has become second nature and not at all uncomfortable or inconvenient, and we all know how impossible that seems at first!
thanks for the WTG, kajun and who knows, by this time next year i may actually be that "new woman" my doc. promised me! LOL

Congrats!

Aniversaries just seem to come by quicker each year ... I suppose that is good and bad at the same time ... but that's life aint it?

I couldn't get my doctor to make me a promise like that, he was afraid of malpractice. So I'm condemmed to the one i've got. It's far from new, it's not even friendly. Jim

Congrats on the year, and the hopes for many more, and maybe for you, that new woman too.

Happy Anniversary, Sharon! I admire you for sticking with it. I hope that you find the answer to feeling better.

Tell your machine I said "Happy Anniversary," too .

Congrats, Sharon and LOL. I keep telling myself to be aware of the little improvements from cpap therapy. You just gave me a whole new perspective.

Course you do go on to discuss some of the little things that are better for you. I am sure you can take the word of your loved ones that they see the positive changes. I admire you for hanging in there despite multiple sleep disorders, incorrect prescribed pressure, etc. And you come to this forum over and over to share encouragement and helpful information. You are part of what makes this forum so great.
