What's wrong with my M-series Auto?

Post by schnertling » Sat Dec 29, 2007 10:40 am

I LOVE the M-series Auto with Aflex...it's working great!

This am I noticed after I turned it off, the blue-lit buttons were pulsing bright to dim. I don't know why and I can't make it stop. I've had the machine just about three months and use it every night. There are no messages on the display to indicate a problem and the machine seems to be working fine.

Did I do something to mess it up?

Hope all had a great holiday and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!

Did you put your card in backwards? Check the display for a flashing icon??

There is always unplugging the power cord. How did it work last nite?

Pull the card and reinstall it. Generally a problem with the connection or you installed the card the wrong direction ( white side to the inside). Should have an X over thye little picture of the card in the right corner but no error message.

I think I found the problem....

As soon as the machine is turned off, a reminder message appeared on the LCD for a few seconds "check to see if your mask is worn out". I pressed one of the arrow buttons, the message disappeared and the flashing lights stopped. Hopefully that fixed it. The card was in OK and the machine was working fine.

Thanks for all the help.

It was probably that "change mask" reminder feature that might have been activated, then. I've seen that software feature in the "Create Prescription" area of EncorePro--it must have been enabled.
