breeze dream seal mask

This mask looks very comfortable. Has any one tried it? I'd like to get a few opinions before I try it. Thanks

I have used this mask and find it quite comfortable. The trick is to get the right sized cushion to fit your nose without leaks. I found it hard to stay on my head without using my chinstrap over it to hold it in place.

I have been having trouble with a stuffy nose, so currently am using my FF mask - but when I can get back to a nasal mask - the Dream Fit and Comfortlite 2 with a cushion will be my choices.

The Puritan Bennett DreamFIT mask that Betty mentioned is a very good one, imho.

However, if you are looking at the Dreamseal attachment for the Puritan Bennett Breeze mask, that's a different thing.

The Dreamseal attachment for the Breeze uses the unique Breeze headgear.

The DreamFit mask has conventional "straps" headgear ...doesn't use the Breeze's plastic headgear.

I like the Breeze with nasal pillows. However, I didn't have success with the Dreamseal attachment for the Breeze. Like any mask the dreamseal attachment probably works for some.

I like the DreamFit mask very much.

The names the manufacturers use can get very confusing!

RG - thanks for the clarification. I have been wondering if I have been talking about the same mask....

Then there is ComfortFull, ComfortLite, ComfortGel, ComfortClassic, ComfortSelect, ComfortCurve, ComfortFusion....

Or pillows, cushions, simple cushions, nasal prongs, direct seal....

...small, petite, medium, medium plus, large

What is a person to do??

Look at the (Mirage) Vista, and wonder if that Mirage was a Swift or a Liberty?

Breeze with Dreamseal

Post by SusanD » Tue Jan 08, 2008 7:19 pm

The Breeze with the Dreamseal is basically the only mask that I can tolerate because I cannot stand all of the plastic parts of the other masks on my face. It has several adjustment points. Put the mask on and pull the back down until it covers the rounded part of your head. Then push the front part "up" so that it fits snugly against your nose. You can tilt the nose cushion up and down until you get a good fit and seal. Tighten the circular straps, and it will stay in place. I have TONS of THICK, curly hair and it still stays in place every night. The only time it leaks is when the cushion is starting to wear. I really don't understand why others cannot get it to fit when I have so much hair and it stays put for me.
