Fisher and Paykel Sleep Style 600 - software and cord?

Everyone has been giving me great input about whether I need to be able to download software to be successfull. I was not sure if my unit has the ability to capture it and I believe it has. Now I am trying to find out what software and cable I need to access it.

The best I could find w/a quick google search was that there are two machines in the 600 series that came out in 2005. It appears there is Compliance Maximizer software for this series of F & P xPAPs but it also looks like that software provides only compliance data on machine usage.

There is also Titration Maximizer software for them but it doesn't provide much information about it other than it appears to be for sleep labs to use during a titration study.

Titration Maximizer sells for $150 at the above URL but no mention is made of any needed cables, etc.

You can probably find more information if you do a more thorough search and will want to know just exactly what is needed w/it and what information, etc. before spending any money for it.

The following is what is in the documentation about my machine. Another person said that this is not what I am looking for and that it's really to benefit the the doc/tech not something I can use.
Argh.

You know what might be interesting if one had extra money just floating around (ha! ) would be whether that Titration Maximizer would pick up the info off our personal CPAPs and if we had a digital video cam we could set up to record the PC monitor the TM was feeding. Just my kinky brain exploring this stuff. I assume all we would get would be a bunch of graphs moving across the screen but ....

That too can be done with the PB 420e, and its run of the mill Silverlining... and you get a fully data capable machine, and your sleep events data are saved on it for 200 days no matter how many sessions you have per day.

SL3 will remote control the 420e, it will even save that online data file - but you will need sleep lab software to read it.... sigh.... nobody's perfect.

Oh, Ozij. Doggone it! I've often thought I'd so like to try that PB GoodKnight 420E and its Silverlining software! In fact, I had been thinking that if hubby would have gone for a sleep study, w/my full well knowing they would want to put him on xPAP, that "we" would ask the ordering doctor to order the PB420E for him.

I've got enough money tied up in my Resmed Elite and Vantage and software, cable, etc. that my trying a PB 420E isn't gonna happen any too soon!!! Doggone it.

Now you try to tempt me w/this titration software and ..... not nice, Ozij! Not nice at all! Curiosity killed the cat!
