Test results

Hi. I'm certainly not the test results expert, but I'm wondering at what pressure during the last study did the min sp02 occur? Your hypopneas are still quite high. Is there a follow-up plan to assure the issues are resolved by a pressure of 17?

Every step closer is a good thing. Hope you feel better soon.

Kathy

Ready,
Please tell us more about your test.

Did you have a mask on for part of the night? For all of it?

Those results you posted look so similar to your previous results that we really need info about the test to undesrtand what's going on.

What does the doctor want you to do in these 2 months?
What does the doctor expect to happen in thees 2 months?

Are you attempting to use a Restar Plus machine at a pressure of 16 or 17?

If you had a mask on during the last study, where are the titration details?

during my last test the pressure was at 16 and i did have a ffm on the whole night. 1st test i wasnt on any cpap 2nd test pressure was set at 10.
all the doc said was come back in 2 months. so i guess im just suppose to see how 17cm does during this time(16 was the pressure during the test but doc said he wanted the machine set at 17). if you have a fax that i could send my results to id be happy to do so.
thanks for the help

Ready, I'm not a health professional. If those were my results, and that was my doctor's response, I would either pester my doctor for answers, or look for a second opinion. I would specifically ask my doctor to show me exactly where he sees the benefit to the cpap in those results, and how he's going to know what the effect of a pressure of 17 is when the machine I have can't track my results. I would ask him why he want me to try a pressure of 17 on a fixed cpap machine and why he isn't sending me for a bi-pap titration, or why he isnt' prescribing oxygen without cpap.

I would also want another professional to look at those results.

O.
