RDI was 62.4
Prescription will be 11 centimeters.
Got my test results. Not sure how good or bad.
The RDI means your breathing is dirupts your sleep at the rate of once a minute. That is bad. Severe in medical lingo.
It also means that you really have to use the machine you will be prescribed, and its pressure will be 11 cms. of water - not too high objectively, but people's responses vary.
Its very good that you were diagnosed, and now have a chance to treat a condition which can do a lot of harm to your health in the long run.
Read "Our Collective Wisdom" in the yellow light bulb, and ask anything you want - someone will have an answer. M
Given that you have severe sleep apnea, you are very fortunate to have been diagnosed - and also fortunate for having found this forum. Stick around, you'll see its a great place for

Welcome to the forum!
If/when you have problems, just post giving as much detail as possible and someone will pop in and try to help.
If you don't have any problems, post anyway and let us know what works for you! You never know what might help someone else.
Ask lots of questions! There are NO stupid questions! If you are unsure of something, someone else is probably wondering the same thing. The answers you get may help others too.
Read, read, read. About machine choices, mask choices, etc. Read as many posts as you can to learn as much as you can. Be sure to click on the yellow lightbulb for our collective wisdom. It is alot of reading but it is all good info that will help.
