Treesap, the CL2 worked well for me, but...as with any nasal pillows interface I've used.... only worked well because of the addition of a homemade strap around the front to stabilize the nasal pillows assembly.
I used all three optional nasal things with the CL2. The "simple cushion" (a tiny over the nose style mask for it) worked fine and was quite comfortable. But again...only with the homemade strap across it to steady the little "simple cushion."
Had to use the homemade strap with any of the optional interfaces. None of them would have worked for me at all without it. All of them worked fine for me with the added strap. No big deal...I'm used to adding it to just about every mask. LOL!
I did remove that clunky elbow connector on top of the CL2. That thing serves no good purpose, and makes turning over difficult. It was also bad to bump the head pillow any time you try to snuggle down into the pillow. Without the dumb elbow connector, the mask was much lighter feeling and less restricting when you turn to the other side.

Idget - don't know if this will help or not.
I wear a Tiara brand Topaz chin strap. I found that "tying" my mask to my chinstrap with Velcro one-wrap worked much better for me than using my mask headgear. It gave me much more stability and kept the seal better.
You might try looking at my chinstrap/headgear morph for my Nasal Aire II and see if you can do something similar with your Swift.
Look up in the Red FAQ area for my Nasal Aire II tip sheet - it will give you links to pix of my chinstrap morph.
Cheers,
Babette

twilight np-- swift for one side but not both
twilight aura np -- best for side to side imho
swift tends to move and leak a little bit more- especially on side with the hose [for me at least]
aura is great except for rain- probably need heated hose

Anyway, you might try something similar with your Swift.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula.

Nasal Pillows Masks
I am in the "I Love My Headrest/Aura/TwilightNP" fan club. Hated the headgear, so I have the bare bones held on by straps. Just last night I cut up some old headgear and used 2 simple velcro straps to secure my mask (one at bridge of nose, one around pillows), and they worked wonderfully.
Was able to side sleep with both the Breeze and the CL2, but not the old Swift. I haven't met a pillows mask yet that didn't require an extra strap to stabilize it, keep it from shifting, and reduce leaks.
Going now to mask up and call it a nite.

I am a newbie as well, tryed the swift II but couldnt side sleep at all. but have become in love with the opus. i have had to make modifications based on posts in this forum. i use the med pillows (had used the small in swift) wrapped a bit of dental floss around the outside of the pillows to bring slightly closer together, then put a small amount of surgical tape in between the pillows on the dental floss to make it rather more cushioned as the floss was cutting into the skin area. i hope this makes sense as its a little hard to describe! i dont have the straps very tight at the top and wear the top strap right at the vey eadge of the hair line, if i go back any further on the top of my head its a no go for comfort but seal is still fine. mind you this took 2 weeks of testing everynight but it was worth it in the end. i would love to have one of those cpap sleeping pillows i have found on ebay, but we dont seem to have them in Oz that i cna find and the postage to here is almost more then the cost of the pillow! but oh well, i use a triangular pillow and i now sleep like the proverbial baby. hope this helps. cheers GVD
