Warranty on a PB GoodKnight

Post by carlitguy » Sat Dec 01, 2007 6:13 pm

I bought a PB Good Knight 420G in the states to take for a month to Europe rather than my 420E (APAP). It served me well and never a problem. I have been home three days and it has quit cold turkey. Nada. I sure am glad it never let me down when I was away.
I have used it three nights since I got home and today it will not light up.
How do I do warranty on this being a Canadian that bought it in the USA?
I am not short of a machine if I send it away as iI have my APAP. Does PB have a warranty depot?

Call or e-mail the supplier you purchased it from and they will give you the information and procedures to use, shipping address, RMA number, etc.

I gather it's still under warranty, so it should only cost you for the shipping back to the supplier.

PB warrenty, if purchased in Canada, is 3 years. If purchased in the US, they are likely to tell you to deal with the US supplier. I think it is worth talking to the Canadian PB folks as they MIGHT help you out.

Good luck!

Willsucceed,

I THINK he may have bought this one in the U.S. based on the post he made here.....and that's what I was going by and the reason I worded my response the way I did.

Wulfman:
You are right, of course. I was not objecting to your post in any way... I just wanted to offer him a suggestion.

My PB420E had a problem lately (the little nipple that the sensor hose attaches to) broke off. The unit was just short of 3 years old. I took it to the supplier and they handed me a brand new one on the spot and sent mine off for repair. About 2 weeks later, the supplier phoned and said PB does not repair, so keep the new unit.

I'm hoping that the Canadian suppliers will honour the warrenty even though he bought the unit in the US. If not, he has got some shipping to do!

Thank you for your replies.
I will try and get warranty here in Canada.
If not, I will ship to the USA. I do have an address in the USA but I normally donèt get mail at it.
At least I have two machines so there are no issues in thayt sense,
The maxhine is only 3 mos old while my main machine is 15 mos old and no problems.
I am going in Monday night for another sleep study. This time in a hospital as I am only sleeping about 6 hours a night.
This makes me really glad in thay I hope they do find out why.
