A little late as 2007 is almost over but ... it never hurts to have handy access to this info.

When I tried to convince my DME to replace my oral cushion, using the same info from the Puritan Bennet website he told me that they would only accept the information from a Medicare site.

So, in case anyone else needs it, here are the directions that someone posted earlier on this forum:
Go to http://www.cms.hhs.gov/mcd/
Click on "search" (left side)
In Step 1, check Local Coverage
In Step 2, select your state
Check "keyword", type in "continuous positive", and check "title"
Click "search now"
The complete policy is L11528.

Susan

Perhaps we should include this info in the FAQs??

I think it would be a valuable addition to "our" FAQs if it isn't already there and I've just missed it.

Slinky, I just added it under "Anyone on Medicare know if they pay for CPAP and mask etc?"

It is the only FAQ that comes close to the topic.

I usually look on the billmyinsurance.com site. They usually keep the medicare rules updated.
