Jim (Goofproof)-Sorry to hear about your defibillator wires. Why don't they replace the entire unit? My husband has a defibillator/pacemaker where the batteries are going low, so it probably won't be long until they replace the entire unit. I know he needs this unit to save his life. It already has done that four times.

Despite some rough nights, I wouldn't give up my cpap therapy for a million bucks!

Same here. Even though I am currently trying to nail down the best settings for myself, and having some nights of AHI at around 10 I still feel immensely better than when I wasn't on CPAP.

I usually love my cpap, but i do find cycles (about every 2 months) were I just don't want to put the damn thing on!!!!!. I take it offf in the middle of the night and i find it irritating to wear, but i know i need it and push myself to start the night on it... then in a week or so i go back toloving my cpap

I have had mine for three weeks... (I still want to try a new mask and the aromatherapy to make it smell better... but I love my machine. I do the Ramp thing for a few and I sleep without my husband or kids waking me up saying .. "Mom.. you aren't breathing right.. you are gasping for air!"

My husband graciously offered to move to my daughter's bedroom, to help with my sleep. My daughter (in college) is coming home for Thanksgiving and I can't wait to have her sleep in my bedroom, so she can tell me if I snore and gasp anymore. My husband for years said I didn't.........but the first time she slept in there, she said "No offense mom, but I can't sleep in here anymore. Its too scary. You sound like you're never going to breath again!" Too bad I didn't get that same info from my husband years before.
Anyhow......hopefully she won't hear a sound from me (unless its one of those nights I'm throwing the mask across the room! )
