Help w/ Fisher & Paykel Sleep Style 200 setup

Post by babydoss » Fri Oct 26, 2007 1:26 pm

How do you get into the setup mode on this cpap machine? I am desperately trying to help an older lady friend who needs her pressure adjusted from 8 to 10. She just had a sleep study done a week ago. She uses her cpap during the day sometimes when she is having trouble breathing. She is having trouble today and her Dr is on vacation for the next 2 weeks, no one is answering the phone, she's been trying to call and keeps getting the run-around. The DME can't chg it bec they need a scrip. And we can't get the scrip bec the Dr's office won't pick up the darn phone!!

Please help me!!

Thanks, Lee

She has a 2 week old FP Sleep Style 200 (Swiffer 2)

Lee,

Try these instructions. They're for the HC234, but might work for the 200 since they're in the same "series".

Den

- Turn on the HC234.

- Enter programming mode by holding down the "RAMP" (top) button and the "Next" (Right arrow/bottom button) for three seconds.

- The first screen will allow you to set adjust altitude, which is indicated by a drawing of a mountain range on the screen. You can change this to "m" for meters or "ft" for feet by pressing the Up or Down keys. Press the Right Arrow key to allow changing the altitude setting.

- Press the "NEXT" (Right arrow/bottom button) to advance to pressure setting which will be indicated by the characters "cm h20 " on the screen. Use the Up and Down keys to change the pressure setting.

- Lastly, push that bottom button again to exit programming mode.

Thanks Wulfman. I have been searching for some advise on how to adjust my machine for quite some time (I bought it without insurance). I was about ready to give up on using a cpap machine. You may have just saved my life!
